It's the next morning, as Ava knocks on the door at Hell Hill, and Gracie slowly opens, a she gasps and goes Why are you here?" Ava answers "You didn't return and I wanted to check on things. You disappeared and Country and I had some drinks but never told me about why he was there." Gracie is silent, fighting emotions, as Ava asks her Niece "What happened? Talk to your Auntie Ava.." Gracie goes "Best from Dad." Ava tells Gracie "Well I'm going to Jackson Inc., so maybe Xavier and I can chat and I don't like what I'm feeling.." Ava leaves, as Gracie has a flashback to the night before, and cries uncontrollably as her phone rings.
At Beth and Ciarra's Penthouse, Beth is awake, and rolls joints, as Ruthie walks in the living room and gasps "Gram!" Beth sighs to her Great-Granddaughter "Now you know I do this. And I know you could use one since you work for that bitch Bridget." Ruthie asks "How did you know I..." Beth smiles "See what I found when going through my little stash? Now I know Aunt Ciarra doesn't smoke. Who else could it'd been?" Ruthie sighs "I do. I smoke with Henry but Mom doesn't know." Beth smiles "Well this will just be our little thing we'll have in common then sweetie. And I think you could use some today anyway." Ruthie goes, as she notices her Great-Grandmother's demeanor "And what exactly happened? You came home late?" At Sully's Mansion, Sully walks into the living room, as Henry pours himself and Xavier a glass of liquor, as Henry tells Xavier "I've called Country." Sully asks her Father, as he's silent, and looks out of the back window "How are you Daddy?" Xavier answers in a dead tone "How? All these years and I've never done this to her but loved her. And she does this.." Sully tells him "Daddy just stay here and be around Henry and Country. Introduce him to Randi if she shows up." Henry snarls "Sully.." Sully tells her Father, as she kisses him and hugs him "I will handle things at the office. Take it easy please and you call me if you need to talk. I'm open all day to you." Xavier nods, as he and Henry walks out on the back deck, as they each drink a glass of liquor, and goes "That Leigh is a real hypocrite." Xavier stares forward, as he takes a drink, and is silent, with his heart broken.
At The Sunset Club, Ryan and his Mother, Jo has breakfast, as Ryan tells his Mother "Can I have Xavier arrested for doing that?" referring to the night prior. Jo tells her Son "Ryan you are growing too big for your britches around here and I think I warned you before returning this isn't going to work for you." Ryan asks "Why so negative Mama? I am making things the best for me. And you." Jo answers "The first part. Me. You should be wiser than to think I can't see what's going on." Ryan looks at his watch, and asks with frustration "And tell me Mama, anything else I do that leaves you unimpressed?" Jo responds "Your damn ego. Chase and I were successful and didn't need one. You humble yourself Mr. Hot Shot before you get into a war you don't want. And I won't get involved because you asked for it. Now I'm off and away. And bring your head back down to earth Ryan." Jo leaves, as Ryan is silent and Rachel walks over, and goes "Well my assumption would've been right. Well same for Roger, my old man." Ryan snaps at Rachel "You are an opportunist whore that knows nothing about being in media!" Rachel laughs "But I have sex with him often. Sometimes at the office, or anywhere we can find. And I had that photo first, but knew better than trying to post that. Leigh could've been visiting Brock." Ryan yells "I took the damn photo and she's cheating on Xavier Jackson! He just cost me millions of dollars!" Rachel goes "Be glad he didn't kill you. And if Leigh cheated on him, then it will be a goldmine for Lord Media, the part of Lord Incorporated I operate Ryan. And no vacancies at our tower downtown if Xavier evicts you. He is unpredictable." Rachel walks away, as Ryan sends a text, and says to himself "Rachel if you only knew."
Meanwhile at The Holiday Hotel, In Aaron's Suite, Leigh looks at Aaron, and asks him, as she thinks of the night before "Did you really rape Ava?" Aaron answers "No I'd never Leigh. That's an old lie. That family lives a damn lie. Always acting close while one plans to kill another. B.R. Jackson did almost kill me over that." Leigh goes "Are you saying you did?" Aaron goes "Look yes and it's where it needs to stay. Jackson Hale is my Son. I would like to know him." Leigh sighs "He called Winston 'Dad', sorry." Aaron sighs "I intend to know him someway." Leigh sighs as she reads her phone "Sully wants to see me. I don't want to go but I figured Beth would run tell her Son like she does." Aaron tells her "Soon you'll be divorced, and out of that crowd and we will have a life for ourselves." Leigh tells Aaron "You're moving too fast. Slow down and plan some backup ideas because this isn't going to be good for me, and if Beth hasn't.." Leigh rushes out, as Aaron takes a deep breath, and gets on his phone, and types "Samantha Hale."
At HaleCorp, Brock walks inside, and unlocks the door to Wade's office, as he walks inside, and gets into his computer, and begins to get into Foodstar's sales reports and secrets, as he's silent, with fight in his eyes. At Wade and Bridget's Mansion, Wade sits inside the living room as he prepares to head to HaleCorp, as Angelica walks downstairs and smiles "My favorite Grandson. I'll be making appearances today. Hope you got Xavier's Son out of the company. Or else you choose who I'll eliminate." Wade yells "Grandmother my Wife doesn't live here and I am running that damn company while you spread your evil all over the world." Angelica answers her Grandson "I'm glad that whore isn't in this home and she's my preferred choice." Wade asks, with concern "So are you planning to kill if I don't fire Brock?" Angelica heads to the door, and smiles, as she pulls out her gun "If your choice to hire Brock backfires, then you and Jared will either pay with death or make a choice on who dies." Angelica leaves, as Wade screams in frustration, as he heads to HaleCorp.
Meanwhile back at Beth and Ciarra's Penthouse, Ruthie sits back, as Beth goes "Oh those were the days I loved. Me, Mama, Allan, sitting around passing a joint and enjoying each other. At least she got to meet you. And she'd get a kick out of this. We'd be having a party right now." Ruthie laughs, as her Great-Grandmother looks at the clock, and asks "Wanna work? Or play hooky?' Ruthie sits back, and goes "I'd rather sit here and hang with you Gram." Beth smiles, as she laughs "If Bridget calls bitching, just hand the phone to me." Beth and her Great-Granddaughter walks into the kitchen, as she asks "Hungry?" Ruthie nods as they make a late breakfast.
At Chase Media Group, Gracie arrives, as Ryan laughs "So I heard the big news. Had someone watching Hell Hill isn't it?" Gracie looks at him, and warns him "You just made the worst mistake of your life you cocky bastard!" Ryan goes "And are you gonna run tell Daddy like during our little meeting?" Gracie slaps Ryan, and walks to the elevator, as she yells "Screw you Ryan! And yeah, I'm about to warn him. And better start packing up you piece of shit!" The door closes, as Gracie goes upstairs with anger in her eyes. Inside Jackson Inc., Ava walks into Xavier's office, as Sully sits inside, and tells her Aunt "Want to go over to FJR and discuss contracts with Cale for the season? Daddy planned to it seems according to his calendar." Ava, with worry, asks Sully with a serious tone "What is going on Sully? What happened last night?" Sully looks up, and takes a deep breath, and sighs "Aunt Ava I need you to visit FJR, and check our sales reports for Emery's." Ava asks again "What happened Sully?" Sully tells her Aunt "Find Daddy and talk to him. He's at my place." Ava goes "Well Jack and Javon can handle this, I'm seeing Xavier." Ava leaves, as Sully takes a deep breath, as Gracie walks inside, and yells "Daddy!!!" Sully turns around and answers "He knows Gracie. And he's staying with me. Go see him." Gracie warns "Ryan.." Sully quickly tells her Sister "I got him. Go see Daddy!" Gracie heads out, as she worries for her Father, as Sully sits back in her Father's seat, and her hands clenched in fists awaiting Leigh's arrival.
At Sully's Mansion, Country sits inside with Henry, as Henry asks Country "So what's wrong with him? He's been outside this entire time, with the bottle and not a word." Country asks Henry "Looks like you and I may have to clean some space in that ol storm shelter over yonder." Henry nods his head, and asks "So we're about to see his other side appear? Who will we have to kill for Xavier?" Country laughs "Shit, he's pretty damn capable of doing it himself. But X is plotting. He's quiet, and staying here. He never stays anywhere except either Hell Hill or Blue Ridge." Henry looks at Country, as he quips "Hell this I think is the first time he's ever stayed here overnight or visited." Country goes "X stays to himself. That's his genius and why he controls Adam's Landing." Outside, Xavier has thrown the glass into the yard, as he now drinks from the liquor bottle, and has a flashback to his Grandmother, as he hears Tenny's voice say "You and Leigh have the Sullivan Love. It will never break." Xavier's eyes are in tears, as he fights his emotions, and takes another drink, and tries not to break down. Country walks outside, and yells "Alright there X?" Xavier looks up, and with his voice breaking, tells Country "Tell Henry to get ready. We're about to teach that bitch something about disrespecting my damn family home." Xavier gets up, as he storms through the house and yells at Henry "Come on!" Xavier, Country, and Henry heads to Hell Hill.
At Class, Jared walks inside, as Bridget asks Jared "Where's your Daughter?" Jared responds "I don't know. She told me she was staying with her Gram.." Bridget asks "That'd be Beth?" Jared answers sternly "You know this Bridget." Bridget sighs "Yeah. Just got some things going on in my mind right now." Jared asks "Exactly what kind of things?" Bridget looks at Jared. At HaleCorp, Wade walks inside, as he walks into his office, as Brock sits at his desk, and sits back with a smile, as he asks Wade "Let's play a game.." Wade snaps "No time for damn games. You are fired! I mean it now!" Brock is quiet, as he gets up and shrugs "No problem Wade. I'll have all your problems solved real, and I mean, REAL soon." Brock walks out, and tells Wade as he leaves "It's just started bastard." Wade sits at his desk, and opens a drawer, as rage shows in his eyes.
Meanwhile at Lord Media Inc.'s office in Downtown Adam's Landing, Rachel walks inside, as Roger and Carver awaits, and Roger tells her "It's time to test Ryan." Rachel is taken back, as she notices a look in Roger's eye, as he winks. At Chantel's Ryan walks inside, as Aretha sits at a table, as Willie sits alongside her Daughter, as Ryan smiles, and goes "Well hello there ladies..." Willie snaps "Ok just cut the damn act because I see this act you're playing" Ryan glares at Willie, as Aretha tells him "Wanted you to know I spoke to my family and I will not be selling The Exposer to you. I'm keeping it." Ryan asks "So that means it's gonna sell one day huh?" Willie snaps, as Aretha tries to control her Mother, as Willie gets enraged "Damnit boy my Daughter said she's keeping it and she spoke to ME! Her Mama! She does something apparently you don't! Poor Jo. She's such a sweet woman. How in the hell did she get a selfish ass Son like you. Thank GOD she had two more!" Ryan gets up and leaves, as Aretha laughs "Coward." Ryan turns around, and asks "Um, excuse me Aretha?" Aretha warns "You aren't making friends. Always a good idea to consider, and next time we are at a press briefing, stay the hell away from me." Ryan leaves, as he huffs, and Willie laughs "That's my girl! Taught his ass!" Aretha quips "Learned from the best Mama." Outside, Ryan makes a phone call, and rushes to his office downstairs at Jackson Inc.
At Jackson Inc., Sully sits inside Xavier's office, as she works intensely, awaiting her Mother, as Jack stands inside, and asks his Cousin again, as she is now silent "What are you plotting Sully? What's going on because my Mom's off to find Uncle Xavier.." Sully yells "Get Javon, and go take care of those contracts! I wanna be alone!" Jack sighs "Well I'm here..." Sully aims at the door, as Jack walks out, as he takes a deep breath, and calls his Mother, but to no answer. At Sully's Mansion, Ava arrives, as she finds the doors locked, and says to herself "Whatever in the hell is going on is bad. I know it.." At The Holiday Hotel, Gracie arrives, as Brock awaits his Sister, and asks "Where is he?" Gracie tells her twin Brother "I don't see the bastard Little X." Brock takes a deep breath, as Gracie goes "Oh shut up. He comes downstairs, we're kicking his ass, and taking him to Dad!" Brock nods in agreement, as they await Aaron, who's at The Inn, and orders a beer. At Hell Hill, Xavier is downstairs, as Beth walks inside, and hugs her Son, as he cries, and Beth is silent and consoles her Son, as Henry and Country walks downstairs, carrying Leigh's belongings. Henry asks Xavier "What about the rest of the house? You said anything that made you think of her.." Xavier looks around, as he walks over to their photo together when they married over 30 years ago, and pulls it down, and breaks it, and screams "This home is ruined! Damn that bitch! DAMN HER!!" Country hugs his best friend, as Henry looks at Beth, and asks, as he pulls a joint from his pocket, and points to the door "So Leigh slept with his rival years ago too huh? I was in Prison with him for a short time while he was being transferred overseas." Beth nods, as she snarls "Nothing but a sorry grade A whore. That bitch will now stay in my book after this, and damnit a Mother keeps a promise!" They walks outside, back at Jackson Inc., Sully is inside her office, as the door opens and Leigh walks inside, and goes "Ok I assume I know who's side you are on?" And really I don't want to talk about this. I didn't know.." Sully sits turned from her Mother, as rage fills her eyes, and she fights back tears, as she hurts for his Father, as she gets up, and walks towards her Mom slowly, and Leigh tries to open her arms to her Daughter, and Sully delivers a backhanded slap to her Mother's face, as she spits with anger "And I don't believe a damn word you whore. My Mom's a whore. No.." Sully screams with pain, as she breaks down, and Leigh stands back, with guilt in her eyes, and regret.

Daylight And Darkness: The Next Chapter, Episode 15. After The Bitter Cold: Part 3. The Final Straw
At The Farm, Frank sits in his chair, as there's a knock at the door, and answers, as he asks "May I help you?" At Jackson Inc, Xavier sits in his office, as evening falls upon Adam's Landing, alone, with questions inside his head, as he makes a phone call and goes "Meet me at The Sunset Club. Private Room." At Hell Hill, Beth hears her Daughter In Law inside her bedroom, as she lays in her bed with a man, as they've had sex, and Leigh pounces, and goes "Let's go another round." Outside Xavier and Leigh's Bedroom, Beth's eyes turn red with rage, and pulls out her pistol, debating her next move.
Across the road at Whispering Hills, Gracie arrives, as she hears yelling in the study, as Ava yells at Jack "Tell your Wife to back the hell off boy or else!" Jack yells "Damnit Mom I am on your side. I don't want to pick sides!" Gracie is silent, as she makes a phone call to Sully, as she and Henry are in bed, and Sully tells him "Javon's taking care of things and we don't get to do this much my bad boy." Henry grins, as they kiss, as they lay in bed next to each other and watch a movie, and feed each other ice cream. Back at Whispering Hills, Jack walks out of the study, and tells Gracie "Mom needs help maybe you can convince her." Gracie goes "Too many of my own cuz." Jack walks out with frustration in his eyes, as Ava asks her Niece, in a slurred tone "So wanna get out of here? Here's my keys. Let's go to Jazz." There's a knock at the door, as Gracie answers and Bree stands on the other side, as Ava hugs her tightly and tells her Niece "Congratulations!" Bree goes "How did you hear? You weren't there." Ava quips "Beth sent me a text. I had to fight my Daughter In Law this afternoon, and my Son is, well damn whipped." Gracie turns the other way, as Bree tells her Aunt "They want what's best for you. As do I, but I know you, and just wish you'd moderate and come around more." Ava sighs "I'm sorry. I'll try because I plan to spoil your child when he or she is born." Bree hugs her Aunt, and tells her Cousin "Gracie watch out for her." Gracie glares at Bree, as she returns home, and Ava asks Gracie "Do you have a problem with her?" Gracie answers "No. I need to call my Brother though." Ava yells "Go outside. I don't wanna hear about that backstabbing twin Brother you sadly have!" Gracie rolls her eyes, as Ava walks over to the bar, and pours a glass of whiskey.
At Jazz, Cale and Allison arrives, as Wade sits alone, and Allison asks "And where's your Wife?" Wade tells his Cousin's Wife "Lay off Allison!" Cale asks Wade "So tell me more about this shit with Brock?" Wade continues, as Allison tells him "He is my Aunt Beth's Grandson, Xavier's Son, and he's just taking time before he leaves you hanging." Wade gets a text meanwhile from Brock, saying "At Holiday Hotel, aka home. You're paying and if not then you know the deal." Cale asks Wade "So what was that about?" Wade quickly answers "Just Jared telling me he's leaving the office." Cale and Allison look at each other, and rolls their eyes, as they aren't buying it. At The Holiday Hotel, Bridget arrives at the bar, as Angelica appears, and Bridget snarls "Oh no. Not the devil herself to make her little threats she loves to do." Angelica laughs "I mean each one too. Now wanna talk since we're alone or shall I call Wade?" Bridget pays the bartender, and warns her "The reason Wade and I aren't living together is because of you. And seeing Xavier Jackson was enough for today!" Angelica asks "Ahh? Did he visit you? Was it cordial? Or did you make a common mistake you and your trash family are known for?" Bridget takes a deep breath, and snaps "You need to leave." Angelica smiles "Just know that Ruthie is also my Great-Granddaughter. She's a Hale. And you will show her respect or you pay with blood. That's a Santiago oath bitch." Angelica leaves, as Jared arrives, and Bridget looks at Jared, and tells him, as she gives him a kiss "Let's go upstairs and make everything ok baby?" Jared pays Bridget's tab, as they head to the suite they are sharing.
Meanwhile at The Evans Home, Aretha sits inside the living room, as Terrance, Javon, and Keisha arrive, as Willie tells them "What a little celebration! Should have seen the one in Southpoint Beach!" Aretha is distant, as Terrance asks his Sister "What's up Aretha? Rashad won. And here you are acting all weird. Back with that thug again? "Javon and Keisha are silent, as Willie asks her Daughter "What's wrong with you?" Aretha tells her family "Ryan Chase has made me a huge offer to sale The Exposer to him." Willie's eyes widen, as does Terrance. Javon asks his Aunt "Would you still run it if you sale?" Aretha sighs "I have to retire for ten years before I can come back. He's concerning me more than Rachel. She let me know when she called." Willie snarks "Rachel is growing a brain! I'll be damned." Terrance tells his Sister, as Javon and Keisha chimes in "Keep this in our family. It's an African-American owned media corporation you founded when you left the evening news at 24.." Aretha warns "Hang on now Terrance. One let's not mention age please. Secondly, I'm not selling it anyway. He's done ruined Adam's Landing News, and Rachel warned me about her and Roger's visit." Willie tells her Daughter "Keeping it is wise. And Rashad has a fallback plan for the future." Aretha reminds her Mother "He has that now with racing. But maybe for Javon and Keisha, this could be my gift to the two of you. I'll give both of you 25% and when or if I die, it's yours." Terrance tells his Son "Accept!" Javon and Keisha hug Aretha, as she tells them "I can't wait for the wedding." Willie heads upstairs, as Terrance follows his Mother.
At Beth and Ciarra's Penthouse, Ciarra, Ruthie, and Precious sits in the living room, as they play jazz records, and Ruthie asks her Great-Aunt "Let's play Uncle Allan's music?" Ciarra goes "I'm not into that. Beth plays it enough in this place and Precious and I prefer the standards. There's a knock at the door, as Ruthie answers, and Brock stands on the other side, and Ruthie looks at her Uncle, and goes "Grandpa might pop up. He tends to do that." Brock walks in, as Ciarra also warns her Great-Nephew "Xavier is still angry with you and you need to make up with him or you could be dead." Brock goes "That's what I'm going to do. I've lost my Father's respect because of Wade, and I'm going to double cross him!" Ruthie reminds him "My Dad also works there." Ciarra is silent, as Brock answers "Ruthie, let's not go there." Ciarra asks Brock "Need some cash?" Ruthie rolls her eyes, as Ciarra pulls out a stack of $100 dollar bills, and tells him "Call me next time before you pop up." Brock and Ciarra hug, as he leaves, and Ruthie looks at her Great-Aunt, as she sternly goes "And you keep your mouth shut. He's doing the right thing now!"
Back at The Farm, Frank sits in the living room, asking "So you walked all the way here and left with nothing?" Randi goes "Yes. I'm homeless." Frank who doesn't know her, adds "And your Husband left you and took everything? And you have nobody?" Randi cries, and Frank tells her "Now I have made a special pact that only one woman that's not my Nieces or Sister are allowed to stay here, but in this case I can make an exception." Randi gets on her knees and thanks Frank and asks "Do you have anything to drink by chance." Frank answers "Some shine I don't drink since my operation on my heart." Randi heads to the kitchen, as Frank takes a deep breath, and turns around, and looks her over.
At Hell Hill, Beth enters the former nursery, and glances through a crack in the door, with pistol in hand, as Leigh and the man continue to have sex. Beth glares intently and says in her head "Oh shit I don't believe this. I can't let this.." Beth kicks open the door, and Leigh and the man jumps as Leigh yells at her Mother In Law "The nerve you have.." Beth aims her pistol at Leigh, and asks "Which should I kill first. I don't believe this!" Leigh yells "I'm moving on and living here whether you like it or not!" Beth snaps back angrily "After this? Shit! No, you just met your worst enemy you whore. Oh my God.." Beth walks back and forth, as the man puts on his pants, and attempts to exit, as Beth stops, and goes "Are you who I think.." The man is silent, as Beth glares towards Leigh, and turns off the safety, and goes "This is the worst thing imaginable Leigh. The worst. No way in hell can you come back from this one, and in this home. Oh no there.." On the highway, as he drives back to Hell Hill, Xavier gets a text from his Mother, as he turns over, and he sits back for a second, and is silent, with shock in his eyes, as he can't move and gets emotional.
Back at Sully's Mansion, Henry walks in the kitchen, following Sully and she goes "We're just getting some more ice cream and then back up to bed. I am the boss." Henry, as Sully only wears a T-shirt, smiles "Oh yes." Sully tells Henry "Back to the bed now!" Henry heads upstairs as he gets a text from his Mother, and yells "Yes!" Sully asks "She's not coming back?" Henry goes "She's staying at a motel Sully. We have this night just to us!" Sully yells "My prayers are answered. I hope." As they walk back into the bedroom, Henry reminds Sully "I'm not throwing her out in the street." Sully asks Henry "I know she's old and worn, but can she work?" Henry gasps "Sully....she would be really offended." Sully quips "Well baby, if she's going to live here, then I plan to hire her to work at Class. And that can be called rent. But she will know what I expect and I got a plane ticket saved with her name on it to anywhere. At The Farm, Randi sits inside the living room, as she asks "So you knew Bob Jennings?" Frank nods, and goes "A hell of a mechanic. He worked for me in the 70s when I won my first championship and he and his friend William started an auto dealership in the Midwest. They sponsor my team when we run once a year at Blue Ridge." Randi cries "He died and I lost everything..." Frank begins to feel sadness for Randi, and she opens up to him, as Frank's eyes are locked on Randi, and studying her intensely.
At Bree's Mansion, Bree returns, as she asks Paul "Where's my Dad?" Paul tells his fiancée" Xavier made a phone call. Actually I'm wrong, Beth made it." Bree is quiet, as she tells Paul, putting her arms around him "My life is perfect now. I have you, and we'll raise Summer's boys, and our little bundle of joy and build a legacy together and break my family's dark past." Paul tells her, kissing her "You've done awesome. Our future is very bright baby." They head to the bedroom. At Whispering Hills, Ava sits inside the kitchen, as Gracie goes "Finished with a little recipe Aunt Ciarra taught me years ago." Ava quips "When its like this I feel so happy. You are so much like Sully. I need to spend more time with her outside the office, and Ruthie I hear is having problems with Bridget." Gracie hands a cup to her Aunt, as Ava takes a sip, and asks "Ice creamed coffee? And orange flavored?" Gracie smiles, as Ava goes "Gracie, this could have some potential beyond just a family secret. And after reading my email from Javon, perfect for ThriftQuik!" There's a knock at the door, as Ava gets up to answer, and Country stands on the other end, as Ava asks "What are you doing here?" Country walks inside, as Gracie greets him with a hug, and asks "Staying with Ava? Is she sharing the liquor?" Ava snaps "Go your ass to the bar and drink something and why are you here tonight?" Country answers "Xavier and Beth ordered it." Ava asks "Is it because of Jack?" Country answers "Another reason. And his Wife is a prissy little bitch now isn't she?" Ava quips "Oh yes she is!" Gracie grows concerned, as Ava walks over and pours herself a drink, as Gracie is silent, and quietly heads across the road.
As night's fallen upon Adam's Landing, The Evans Home has grown empty, as Willie sits in the living room, as Aretha returns, as Willie asks her Daughter "Where did you go?" Daylight And Darkness: The Next Chapter, Episode 14. After The Bitter Cold: The Aftermath, Part 2
As the day has turned into afternoon, at Jackson Inc, Sully and Gracie returns to Sully's office, as she tells her Sister "Should I go down to stop Daddy?" Gracie quips "Let him deal with Bridget. He knows how to deliver a message." Sully takes a deep breath, as she responds with uncertainty "Sissy, he hates Wade Issac and he isn't very fond of her either. She did share a past with my Ex." Gracie goes "Sperm donor. Doesn't Cain call Henry Dad now?' Sully looks at her Sister, and suggests "You need to go downstairs to check on that job you got at Chase Media Group. And give me any scoop you find. And one more thing before you go back to Aunt Ava's, text me and keep me updated because she's worrying me." Gracie goes "Me too Sully. I will do that and maybe you go check on things at home yourself since your favorite person is likely there." Sully sighs with disgust "Good idea." Gracie heads out, as Sully heads back to her Mansion. Inside Sully's Mansion, Ruthie has returned from her classes at the Adam's Landing University, as Henry's passed out on the couch, and Randi makes calls, and snarks at Ruthie "We're having a party tonight here so you and Mommy can deal with it. My Son is the Man of the house!" Ruthie warns Randi "Tell that shit to my Mom when she gets here. I'm just packing my suitcase and locking my doors and staying the night with my Gram and Aunt Ciarra so blow off bitch." Bree smiles "I'm going to keep all of you in suspense Aunt Beth. But we're going to get married soon and thinking of Hell Hill." Frank tells his Niece "Sounds perfect to me. It is our home place. And if you wanted to have the wedding here, it'd be alright too." Beth meanwhile shakes her head in disagreement, as does Bobby, as County walks inside and tells his Daughter "I had to call everyone I know and tell them my Daughter! The D.A. of Adam's Landing is having me a Grandbaby and I'm gonna be the best Papaw ever!" Bree looks at her Father, as she tells him "It's meant so much having you help me out with all this with Mom and that trial." Bobby chimes in, as Jo has left "Jo said she had enough to send her away. Got some packages she said and after you got sick while questioning Roger, we knew then." Bree sighs "She killed my Sister, or at least someone helped her do it. But now I'm moving on. I am getting the one thing I've always wanted, a baby, and a family." Frank meanwhile goes, as he looks around "Wasn't Ava supposed to drop by?" Bree tells her Uncle "She's invited me to Whispering Hills to tell her." Frank is silent, and heads to the kitchen, as Cale follows his Father. Inside the living room, Beth sits next to Bree, and tells her "You'll be a wonderful Mama and Ruth is smiling down." Bree holds her Aunt's hand, and cries "I wish she was here.." Beth smiles "She is Bree. And if she was here, I am certain she would likely babysit and you'd be lucky if she let you near him or her, or them.." Bree smiles "She loved me." Beth answers gently "She did. She always told me you were most like her." In the kitchen, Frank and Cale discuss Ava, as Country walks in and tells Frank "She's not in the right mind Frank." Frank tells Country "Well shit! She adores Bree and she used to come over to these." Cale asks his Father "Do you think there's a problem going on she isn't sharing with us?" Frank sighs "Son, if she's going through something, she wouldn't tell me. We aren't close and since Winston died she's really went into her own world." Country tells them "I'll find out what's going on." In the living room, Bobby and Beth, as Ginny hugs everyone as she heads into work as an intern at City Hospital "There needs to be something good to happen at Hell Hill. So let's arrange it there. I'll set everything up and discuss it with Xavier. He'll be fine with it." Bree and Paul asks "And Leigh?" Beth smiles, and answers "Screw her."
At Class, Bridget struts in, as her secretary tells her "Mr. Jackson is here." Bridget rolls her eyes, and gripes to herself "Well looks like the spoiled brat called her Papaw." Bridget walks inside, as Xavier sits behind her desk, as Bridget boldly warns Xavier "I'm in charge here Xavier. And if you are here to threaten me for Sully, or anyone else in your warped family, then get out!" Xavier puts his Colt 45 on the desk, and asks Bridget "Are you bragging to my Granddaughter about sleeping with her Father?" Bridget snaps in a defensive tone "My life and what I do doesn't apply to you, so get out before I call Wade!" Xavier picks up his Colt 45, and laughs "Call anybody you want Bridget. And I just want you to know something. Back off of Ruthie and acting like a damn bully before you answer to me! Ava would like to know I'm certain.." Bridget yells "Leave bastard! Xavier walks to the door, putting his gun in his pocket, and warns "You may damn work for Sully, and I trust my Princess, but anything with Jackson Inc. you whore, then you answer to me and don't forget that." At HaleCorp, as Brock works on a project, Wade listens to his Wife, with anger in his eyes, as he goes coldly "Talk to you when I get home." Bridget snaps back "No we meet with dinner. Get your Grandmother out of our lives and I'll return home!" Bridget hangs up, as Wade looks at Brock, and snaps "You need to know something. My Grandmother wants you gone, and I have declared war on your Daddy. Poor pitiful Xavier Jackson Sr." Jared walks inside, as he tells Wade "I'm leaving now and back off my Ex's Brother!" Jared leaves, as Brock glares at Wade, and in a cocky, arrogant tone goes "And I'm working on something private and if you try me, I'll expose your ass and collect! Lord Media or the one that bought the paper Wade?" Wade snaps "I'm leaving and I'm watching you." Samantha yells back angrily "He has enough being a young man and having autism and I don't want him around you and you staying drunk, or high when Beth shows up here a few times a week Ava! Daylight And Darkness: The Next Chapter, Episode 13. After The Bitter Cold: The Aftermath, Part 1
When we left off, Jamie was facing life in prison, being prosecuted by her own Daughter. Xavier and Leigh's world was beginning to go downhill, and a possibly rivalry may be in the makings between Leigh and Jackson Family Matriarch, and Xavier's Mother, Beth Jackson. Wade and Bridget's Marriage is too being tested, and Brock, Xavier and Leigh's Son, is currently working with him and that was the beginning as we left off. Sully and Henry are also dealing with a problem of their own, with his Mother. Now we pick up almost a month later..
At The Farm, Beth arrives with Ciarra, as Frank tells them "Country should be on his way if he isn't with Xavier." Beth takes a deep breath, as she fumes, and Ciarra reminds her Niece "Today might be a good day Beth. Let's enjoy this. Things are looking up now!" Beth sighs "It is, but not as I'd like.." Cale, Allison, and Ginny also arrives, as Frank tells them "Bobby will be here soon. He went with Bree and Paul." The mood in the home is one of peace, and suspense.
At Jackson Inc, Xavier sits at his desk, as Sully sits inside and tells her Father "I did speak to Brock and I think he was honest with me with his answer. He hates it at HaleCorp, and Mom has a hell of a fight on her hands if she did try to take this from us!" Xavier sighs "It's hell going home and seeing her. We don't speak. And I have heard rumors about someone else." Sully asks "Are you serious? I don't think Mom would do that to you unless the two of you were actually divorced." Ava walks inside, as she looks at Sully, who asks her Aunt "Are you telling my Daddy that Mom's cheating on him?" Ava looks at her Niece, and answers "I have heard rumors also Sully. But I don't get out much and prefer to drink at home. I just know the bitch will hate it if she tries to take this company with blood on it! And that blood will be hers because she won't be taking a damn thing!" Ava storms back out, as Xavier takes a deep breath, and tells his Daughter "There's someone I am worrying about." Sully nods in agreement. In the lobby, Jack and Javon walk inside, as Ava turns to her Son, and snaps "I am going to see my Grandson today and you can't do anything about it! Make sure to pass that to the Wife!" Ava walks to her office and slams the door, as Javon asks "That bad?" Jack nods, and sighs "I think Dad's death was too much on her. And I got to save her from self-destructing. She's looking for anything to attack now that she sees as a threat, and had lots of bonfires during that crazy ass trial." Javon asks "Didn't she set Jamie.." Jack goes "Let's get to our offices and get this project for Uncle Xavier."
At Lord Incorporated, Roger sits at his desk, as Rachel sits on the edge, and Roger asks her "Now are you certain you want to sell The Gossiper to this Chase fellow? He is young and he's already bought the Adam's Landing News." Rachel is quiet, and then tells her boyfriend "He is a little stuck up and needs to be brought down to earth. We could do that well." Roger quips "Monica is bringing me the official papers soon and I'll be a free man again and we can marry." Rachel kisses Roger, as passion builds, before there's a knock at the door, and Roger walks over to open, as Ryan Chase walks inside, and Roger yells "We're not selling!" Ryan tells them "I see how the two of you work. I see money, and I know how to run media better than you I think Roger! I've worked..." Roger snaps, as Rachel steps back and silently watches with a smirk "Bastard I gave you a shot and then you buy the newspaper? And then start gossiping and so you know. Carver has no problem visiting you with a few friends. I am closer to Xavier Jackson nowadays.." Ryan goes "Until he finds out you're sleeping with the woman that aborted his child." Rachel tells Ryan "Deal off and just leave before I make a call to my friend." Roger rolls his eyes, as Ryan steps back, and tells them "I'm starting a magazine also, on TV. Watch your steps. May wanna focus on what little audience you have." Ryan walks out, as Rachel quips "We oughta give Aretha Evans a heads up on this big development. And I think he quit Lord Incorporated baby." Roger walks over to the window, and answers boldly "He's about to make a huge boo-boo, and he'll learn who really runs this town. He thinks I may have my dark side, but even I know who really calls the show and best remember that Rachel." Rachel is quiet, as she silently leaves, with questions.
At HaleCorp, Wade, and Jared are sitting in a meeting room, as Angelica looks at her Grandsons, and warns them angrily "Why is Brock still here? I thought I made it known what the price would be Wade!" Wade tells his Grandmother "Leigh is about to destroy Xavier, and we may get Jackson Inc if she wins." Jared is quiet as he has a flashback to getting beaten up when having an affair when married to Sully, and goes "He deserves it." Angelica glares at Jared, and tells him "This was your last shot. I disown you as a Hale. Just as much of a sorry piece of white trash shit as your Grandfather's family!" Wade snaps "So if I don't agree, then you will disown me?" Angelica laughs "Did that ring your bell Wade? I don't have any problem making a family member that disobeys the Santiago values go far away, or just kill them and play sick little twisted games. And you are at least showing more promise." Jared asks his Grandmother "What promise? He's a sorry bastard I think is likely also a liar. Ever checked his DNA?" Angelica yells "ENOUGH! I run the Hale legacy now and HaleCorp! Also know I said Xavier Brock Jackson Jr is dismissed and if he's still here whenever I decide to pop up, then one of you will face my wrath! Meanwhile at Chantel's, Leigh sits at a table, as Brock arrives, and tells his Mother "Thought we were meeting at home this morning." Leigh tells her Son "Well Sully and Gracie are furious with me and Gracie's across the road and hopefully not being groomed from Ava." Brock assures his Mother "Gracie has a strong head on her shoulders. Very fair I think." Leigh tells Brock "I haven't heard anything from Ava as of recent. Beth, well she can go to hell." Brock warns his Mother "I'm tired of this war growing between you and Gram! You need to make peace.." Leigh goes "Me? Make peace? She started it Brock. And so you always know, she isn't so damn perfect." Brock tells her "I know Mom. Gram has always been pretty open about her past with me and I respect her and won't put up with you talking bad about her. Sully wouldn't be the success she is without her!" Leigh waves for the bartender, as she pulls out her card, and tells Brock "After this little meeting, you leave me alone for awhile. That was too much. Just too.." Leigh slaps her Son across the face, as she yells "He's paying!" Brock pulls out his last dollars, as he sighs "I'm a loser. Thank you Wade for making my family hate me. And thank you to myself for doing it. My Dad is right."
At The Farm, inside Frank's Home, Beth is in the kitchen, as Ginny helps her Great-Aunt, as Ciarra sits at the table and tells Beth "I want to go home."
