It's a sunny morning in Adam's Landing, as Xavier and Leigh sits on the couch; at Beth's Penthouse (Formerly Tenny's Penthouse), as Beth walks into the living room, and looks at her Son and Daughter In Law; and asks "I notice those looks." Xavier sighs to his Mother with disgust "I miss my Princess and our Grandchildren being in town where I can look after them." Leigh holds her Husband's hand, and reminds him "Sully and our Grandchildren are happy in Loma Vista. That's all that matters X." Ciarra walks out of her bedroom, as she looks towards her Great-Nephew, and sighs "It's my fault she left. I feel like I betrayed her." Beth looks at her Aunt, and gently goes "She loves you. It's just that damn whore Jamie and her spawn that ruined everything." Leigh laughs "Well Jamie thinks she's on top of the world, but it'll soon come crashing down." Xavier laughs "I think that one way ticket I sent my dearly hated Niece gave Jamie her wake up call." Ciarra shakes her head, as she says to herself "My biggest mistake was that one night stand. I'm leaving." Beth asks "Taking Precious?" Ciarra walks out, as Beth turns to her Son, as Xavier's eyes fill with sadness, and Beth tells her Son and Daughter In Law "She lost Mama. Then Floyd. Gained a Granddaughter in Bree, and two failures in Jamie and Summer, but has Shannon so damn far away! I'm worried about her." Xavier gets up, as he tells his Mother, giving her a hug "Mother, don't worry. We'll take care of Jamie. What Roger doesn't know will damn him in the end." Xavier and Leigh walks out, as Beth looks at her Mother's portrait, and touches it, and says with sadness "Mama, comfort Aunt Ciarra please?" Beth yells at Precious, Ciarra's Doberman who formerly belonged to Tenny Sullivan, Beth's Mother "Tear anything up today I'll kick your ass whether Auntie Ciarra likes it or not!" Precious growls, as Beth snarks "Whatever.", as she heads down to City Hospital.
At Whispering Hills, Ava sits in her living room, as she takes a drink of coffee, and her phone rings, as she answers and bluntly snaps "So where in the hell is my Husband?" Country, in South America, yells "It's been over a damn year! He's dead.." Ava screams "Winston is alive! Somebody has him!" Country tells her "Maybe you should lay off that liquor." Ava responds with a bold threat, warning Country "If you don't find him, I'll make sure when you return to town, I'll kill you myself you piece of shit!" Ava hangs up, and screams "DAMNIT!" There's a knock at the door, as Ava yells "Come in!" Jack and Samantha walks inside, as Jack asks his Mother "So still trying to find Dad? Mom.." Ava grabs her Son's hand tightly, and cries "I miss Winston so much Jack. He went with Angelica to try to find a heart, and I didn't even hug him, or tell him I loved him." Samantha tells her Mother In Law, as Jack and Samantha are now married "He knew. And he wouldn't want you to be like this." Jack agrees, and tells his Mother "Let's go down to the office. Xavier's called a meeting." Ava snarls "Probably about that burning whore that sold out our family." Jack nods, and adds "I think he's ready to make his move.
At The Farm, Frank sits inside the nursery, as he looks at his Mother's photo, with sadness in his eyes, as he looks at his phone, and sends a text to his now teenage Daughter, Faye, telling her "Get your ass back here!" The door opens, as Frank turns around, and Bree tells her Uncle "Look who I found in front of The Inn." Faye walks inside, as Frank snaps at his Daughter "What did I tell you about running away at night?" Faye responds in a disrespectful tone "Shut up old man! You're still screwing the evil bitch that killed my Mama! And I will get her ass!" Frank screams "Damnit can't you realize that Beth has been there for you and I could have just thrown you off the damn curb somewhere! I'm old enough to be your Grandpa!" Faye snarks hatefully to Bree, as she watches with anger in her eyes towards her cousin "Got anything to say D.A.? You're quiet for once." Bree tells her Uncle "I have a cell waiting for her." Bree heads to the ALPD, as Frank warns his Daughter "Faye Jackson, I've had enough of your shit. So get it together, or I will send your ass to boot camp!" Faye flips her Father off, and runs in the house, as Frank looks up, and rolls his eyes, as he gets a phone call, and doesn't answer.
Meanwhile at Class, owned by Lord Incorporated, and merged with the tabloid; "The Gossiper", Jamie sits in her office, as she's on the phone with her Husband, and CEO of Lord Incorporated, Roger Lord. Roger sits in an office in the Midwestern town of Loma Vista, and laughs to his Wife "Xavier's little Princess is about to get a wake up call coming from me. She's running from something." Jamie snarls "Running because she killed my damn Daughter. I will get her!" Roger snaps "Well dear wife, time for you to go to Jackson Inc, and bring my friend with you." Jamie asks "Which one?" Roger answers "Wade Issac. Met him up here at a resort. Nice man. Winston's Heir." Jamie fumes with silent rage, telling her Husband " Remember last time? I bet if I called that withered bitch she'd know. She did kidnap her once." Roger goes "Meeting. Gotta run." Roger hangs up, as Jamie looks up, and sees her biological Mother, Ciarra, who sighs with disgust "If only in my time abortions could been forgivable, I'd done it with you. I wish I never knew." Jamie snaps "Well Mommy, why don't you go disappear? Like do a Tenny and leave and come back to die.." Ciarra slaps her Daughter forcefully, and yells "Tennessee was my best friend! And my damn Sister you whore!" Jamie backs up, as she gasps "Oh God you hit me. I didn't think you were like that.." Ciarra responds boldly "I may be 90 years old, and able to get around well for my age, but nobody's talking about the Sullivan name like that to me. I feel so sorry that Ruth had to put up with you. B.R. should have put you in an adoption home." Jamie yells "Go to hell you bitch." Ciarra snaps back with force in her quiet tone "Already there knowing you carry my blood inside you. But I love Bree. The rest of you can just go to hell yourselves!" Ciarra walks out, as Jamie stands at her desk, with shock on her face, and sadness in her eyes.
At The Evans Home, Eve Mathis, and her official "Partner", as she refuses to never marry again; Sayyid Ross, walks inside, as Aretha warns her Uncle "Mama's still mad at you." Eve tells Aretha "That was an accident. And I did not kill that man in Loma Vista!" Willie Evans, Matriarch of the Evans family, and Mother to Aretha and Terrance Evans, walks downstairs, and snaps angrily at her Brother "What a damn lie Clem. Bullshit! You done went back to running the streets again. Getting angry and coming back to kill a man who's proven himself I will not support! On my bible and beloved Sidney I just..." Willie walks back upstairs, as Eve looks at Sayyid, as he is quiet, and Aretha asks her Uncle "Are you here to kill Carver?" Sayyid responds "I'm here to make peace with my family Aretha." Eve nods in support of the man she truly loves, and tells Willie "It's time to lay it down!" Willie screams "He killed my Great Grandsons, and now Rashad lives in Southpoint Beach with Shannon, and.." Aretha sighs, and Sayyid walks outside, and Willie walks downstairs slowly, and approaches Eve, and asks "What in the hell is wrong with you girl? Retiring to be with him?" Aretha yells at her Mother "It was a ACCIDENT! It was dark, and you know some people text when they drive, and then it happens. But Uncle Clem isn't a young man and he told you he couldn't drive at night." Eve agrees, and goes "Exactly! And he's hurt enough Willie! Accept it!" Willie walks back up to her bedroom, and Aretha gives Eve a hug, and tells her "Watch after Uncle Clem, and Terrance and I will try with her. You know how she is." Eve nods, and walks out, as Sayyid cries, and goes "I am innocent! I did not kill Tyrone Houston and it was proven!" Eve tells him, as they head towards her car "Let's go get settled in my Loft downtown, and we'll invite Terrance, Javon, and Keisha over." Sayyid nods, and asks "What about Herb? He was dating my Nephew." Eve reminds him gently "They broke up, but he works for Jamie Lord unfortunately." Sayyid sighs, and warns Eve "Just know if Carver DuBois makes ONE wrong move; he's dead!" Eve and Sayyid get inside her car, as they drive off. Willie watches from her porch, as Aretha stands at the door, with tears in her eyes.
At FJR, now run by Cale, as Frank has retired from running his racing team to be a Father for Faye; Cale hangs up the phone, as the door opens, and Cale goes "Wade?" Wade Issac Hale looks at his adopted Brother, as Cale hugs him; as Wade laughs "Cale Stone, CEO and lead driver for the team passed to him by his Father, Frank Jackson, the legend." Cale asks Wade "So what are you up to? I know you too well. Don't let me bring up Sugar Creek." Wade quips "Bridget and I sold everything there, and now I own HaleCorp thanks to a sweet deal with Roger Lord for his chain of hotels, titled "Lord's Resort". Cale sighs, and warns him "Please don't start anything Wade." Wade heads to the door, as Allison Stone, Cale's Wife, walks inside and tells Wade "Good to see you. Get lost." Wade walks out, and quips "What hostility in-law?" Allison snarks back "Snakes do like to come out at summer. Stay away from my Husband's team!" Wade leaves, as Cale asks his Wife "Why are you mad?" Allison tells her Husband "I found liquor missing again. And money." Cale snaps "Faye! She's about to get a taste of big Brother!" Allison sighs with anger "I am worried about Frank, and he's acting weird." Cale reminds her "Baby he does have a history of heart disease. But she's about to stop stealing shit from us, and she'll stop breaking in!" Allison holds her Husband, and goes "At least Ginny's at Private School. She doesn't have to see this." Cale sighs "She's still in high school. So she's still young. I think she needs boot camp, and back off of Beth." Allison loudly yells "Exactly! Back off my damn Aunt, one of the last members I have of my Daddy's family!" Back at the Farm, Frank sit inside his home, as Faye walks into the living room, and asks her Father "So haven't called that evil bitch? Usually you do when I run away..." Frank slaps his Daughter across the face, and yells "I've had enough! You mean it! I can't.." Frank sits down, and Faye laughs "You are old. Stop acting so forceful you weak old bastard!" Frank sits down, and takes deep breaths, and gets back up, and heads to the door, warning his Daughter "Run away again, boot camp!" Frank leaves, as Faye sneaks into Frank's liquor cabinet.
At City Hospital, new CEO Terrance Evans, sits in his office, as Beth walks inside, and asks him "So where's Olivia?" Terrance goes "She went down to see Davis. He fell, and she took him to get therapy from Victoria in Lafayette." Beth nods, and tells him "Barbara's on her way. She's the Chief Of Staff of the Research Hospital of Adam's Landing." Barbara Arp walks inside, as she tells Beth "And it should be named after you girl." Beth sighs "But Ruth died, My Mama died, and I'm so scared for Frank with that little bitch he created with Casey Ryan. If I ever.." Barbara reminds Beth "I'm sure she got her message when you got her ass awhile ago in Texas. So congrats Dr. Jackson. My best friend." They hug, as Terrance tells them "I think we're going to do great things with what we've got planned." Keisha White, a Doctor at Research Hospital, walks inside, and also asks "Where's Olivia?" Beth answers "No idea. I know she tends to stay to herself since Allan died a few years back." Beth tells everyone "Well let's get whatever Terrance has started. And better not be naming that hospital after me either!" Terrance snaps with respect to his mentor and longtime boss and friend "Beth, you are the greatest Doctor I've known. Every respected Doctor had admired you, and when that patient, umm.. "Beth goes "Sarah.", Barbara adds "Scleroderma is so sad. And she was a surgeon!" Beth nods, wiping a tear from her eye "She tried that experiment, but it didn't work. But if anything; for me; name it after her." Terrance, Barbara, and Keisha all nods, as Beth goes "Sarah Duncan Research Center! Everyone applauds, as Beth opens a pouch, and sighs "Meeting over, and now back home I go to see where my Aunt has decided to venture to. Hopefully not off to see Jamie. She has one more time with me." Beth leaves, as Barbara looks at Keisha, and goes with a smile "Let's go back over to our Hospital, and leave Terrance to handle everything here." Terrance asks Keisha "So tonight you and Javon meet me at my House. We're having a family meeting." Keisha goes "We will." Barbara and Keisha leaves, and Terrance sits at his desk, and says to himself, reading a chart "What in the hell?"
At Jackson Inc, Xavier walks into his office, and Javon DuBois, the Son of Terrance Evans and Attorney Monica DuBois, stands inside, as does Ava, and Jack, as Xavier tells them "So far so good. I've just gotten some dirt on Roger from Loma Vista. It's perfect Sis." Ava looks at her Brother, trying to show happiness, but yet sad, as she asks "Roger's cheating on ol' Charred up Old Maid?" Xavier nods, and Javon goes "Aunt Aretha told me. She got it from a source in Loma Vista." Xavier smiles, but goes "I wish my family was all together. Gracie and Little X's graduated, and off studying overseas. Sully's in Loma Vista. Let's now stop with that before this ice veined man cries." Ava tells them "Well he's failing that grocery store, so we could scoop up. Bankruptcy is popular right now." Xavier answers "Not interested. Jim's has taken over, and Jared Hale can kiss my damn ass! We're destroying him and Roger, and restoring Winston's proud store he created to kick our asses; but never could." Ava laughs for a moment, and goes "Excuse me." Ava walks out, as Jack follows his Mother, as Ava opens a flask from her purse, and takes a drink, as Jack goes "Mom. You need to slow down.." Ava screams "DAMNIT HE ISN'T DEAD!!!" In Xavier's office, Xavier and Javon looks at each other, as Xavier quips "Sounds like the normal day around here." In the lobby, Ava tells her Son, as she is angry "I have no damn problem." Jack heads to his office, as Ava heads to hers, and walks inside, and makes a phone call, and goes "Call me back and tell me how things are down there in Texas."
At The Jackson Estate, outside Adam's Landing, and known to all and referred to as "Hell Hill", Xavier and Leigh's Home, Leigh walks inside, as Xavier Jackson Jr, Xavier and Leigh's Son, sits inside, and asks his Mother "So what the hell's going on with Class?" Leigh asks "Why are you home from school?" Xavier Jr answers "I changed my first name to Brock, after Great-Grandpa, and my middle name." Leigh tells her Son "Give Mama a hug, and what really happened? I know how much you want to defy Dad." Brock tells his Mother "Mama, I want you and my Sister to get that company back from Aunt.." Leigh warns "Don't give her that honor. She's a disgrace to our entire family. Those books, to hurting your Sister, I hate her, but if Sully and my babies are happy, I'm happy. Let's just figure out what you will do while you are home. Assuming you return to school in Austria?" Brock laughs "Nope. Home to stay, and learn the story of our wonderful family of outlaws, and learn how to take over the world." Leigh rolls her eyes, and she sighs "Well sounds like I'll be like Beth and Tenny, and take up weed then." Brock laughs "I just want Jamie to give y'all back what is yours. Father seems not to be interested." Leigh yells "Damnit leave it alone Son!" Leigh walks into the kitchen, as Xavier Jr heads out.
At Eve and Sayyid's Loft, in Downtown Adam's Landing, Monica sits inside, as Eve signs papers, and tells Sayyid "Now I am full owner of Jazz." Sayyid goes "And Keith would have wanted it like that." Eve nods, as Monica tells them "Well I've got to head back to the airport and return to the capital." Monica leaves, as Eve tells Sayyid "You may want to keep in touch with her in case those bastards back there in Loma Vista tries to get you again." Sayyid cries "Eve I didn't run into Rashad's SUV that night. I couldn't see because of the fog, and there were someone blinding me. I moved over, and they hit them, and tried to run after the driver, but.." Sayyid continues to cry, as he sobs with sadness "I've seen too much. I need Willie." Meanwhile at The Evans Home, Aretha sits in the living room, as she works from her laptop, as Willie yells out loud "He knew damn well what I meant. The damn NERVE!" Aretha puts the laptop down and yells at her Mother, grabbing her in a hug "MAMA!" I believe what he told me at my Grandsons double-funeral." And you know, and I do, how he is." Willie cries "Baby, your Son lost his two Sons at once. And it's Clem's fault. I know it." Aretha goes "Mama it isn't. It's someone else, and if I could prove it to you, could you forgive him?" Aretha adds "And you know damn well he didn't kill that boy in Loma Vista!" Willie goes "I know Aretha. But I need to know who caused my family to bleed as we have the past year in tears." Aretha and her Mother hugs, and Aretha gently reminds her "Now you know Rashad visits since he still drives for FJR, and you are always welcomed to go spend time with them." Willie looks at her Daughter, and heads upstairs, as Aretha leaves, heading to the ALPD.
At the ALPD, Chief Detective Paul Whitten, walks inside Bree's office, as Bree looks at Paul, and asks "How's Jake, Russ, and Evan?" Paul goes "Just got a call from their schools, and they are doing well. Going to camp." Bree smiles, and tells Paul "I have enjoyed being a part of their lives since my Sister died." Paul looks at Bree, and tells her "You have done wonders. I have a confession." Bree asks quizzically "And what might that be?" Paul tells Bree "I'm in love with you. I don't feel right saying it.." Bree stops, and goes "Me too. You are so like Bobby. And we have both been through hell when it comes to relationships." Paul agrees, and asks "On that note, wanna go on a date to Chantel's" Bree accepts, and tells Paul "I would love it." Paul smiles, and walks out, as Bree sits back, as the phone rings, and she answers, as Phillip Mason, D.A. of Loma Vista tells her "Ross is in town and you need to have him arrested. Even arrest Ms. Mathis if you have to! He's caused a war in this town over Houston's murder." Bree is quiet for a moment, and thinks of her Grandmother, hearing Ruth's voice say "Sayyid is Willie's Brother." Bree tells Phillip "I don't know where he is, and I am wanting to know who killed my Sister. So screw you! And I know of your reputation thanks to Mayor Bobby Whitten!" Phillip warns Bree "Better warn him that we're tired of these protests and will turn it over to who's above you, and go from there." Bree laughs "Well good luck Phillip. And don't call back." Bree hangs up, as she sees her Grandmother's spirit, and Ruth smiles, as she disappears, and Bree starts to cry.
At Chantel's, Frank arrives, as Jamie sits at a table, and Jamie asks her Brother "What's wrong Frank?" Frank sighs with frustration to his Adopted Sister "Faye. She's too much for me. I made a mistake with Casey." Jamie takes a drink of wine, and quips "Life is full of them! I've made mine. Everyone has in our family. But it's helped me build myself in the community." Frank motions for a waiter, and goes "Whiskey. Straight whiskey." Frank asks his Sister "When will you come off that damn cloud and stop acting like Desi used to act when she was alive in town." Jamie laughs "And about her, Rachel's on her way. She's still a first class whore." Frank quips "Well look who's calling another damn woman a whore. Jamie, if you need to do anything, be there for Bree. At least she turned out decent, and cut Ciarra a break too. You will regret this." Jamie gets up, and tells her Brother "Nice seeing you.", and leaves, as Frank leaves. At Beth's Penthouse, Ciarra returns, as Beth sits in the kitchen, and puts out a joint, as Ciarra is visibly upset, and with tears, cries "What shame she has brought us Beth. What great shame. And it's my fault." Beth walks over to her Aunt, and holds her, as Precious runs from Ciarra's bedroom and comforts his owner, as Beth tells Ciarra "My Granddaughter will get her damn company back, and Mama said to me she forgiven you before she passed away a few years ago." Ciarra snarls quietly "Well I given her a warning. I will not allow her any longer to tarnish our family's respected name!" Ciarra heads to her bedroom, as Beth pulls out her phone and makes a phone call, and goes "So how are things going in the desert?"
At HaleCorp, Wade walks inside his Brother; Jared Hale's office, to find it empty. Wade looks around, as Carver DuBois walks inside, and asks Wade in a hateful tone "You know you aren't welcomed here Issac!" Wade laughs "I just came to see my little Brother." Carver quips sarcastically "And you know now and then when your Grandma comes to Adam's Landing we do see each other and reconnect intimately sometimes, until I marry Aretha Evans." Wade sighs "I know. But you also know what she wants, she gets." Jared walks into his office, and yells at his Brother "And I know exactly why you have showed up! You are here to try me on since you're helping that evil bitch we call Grandmother! Roger let me run this! So go and tell lady Satan she can go to hell and so can you and Bridget." Wade's eyes grow red with rage, as silence fills the room. At Jackson Inc, Xavier sits inside his office, and Jack walks inside, and asks his Uncle "So what's Country doing on the payroll still?" Xavier snaps "Excuse me?" Jack adds "Mama hired him to look for my Dad in South America." Xavier takes a deep breath, and sighs "Jack, I think Sis has slipped." Jack, in a sad tone of agreement, goes "Yes she has Uncle Xavier and I want to save her before she destroys herself, or if anything happens and she flips totally." Inside Ava's office, Ava yells at somebody on the phone "I don't owe you shit so leave me alone! Don't call me again you damn liar!" Ava hangs up, and takes a deep breath, as she takes a drink from her flask, and pulls out a photo of Winston Hale, and holds it to her heart, and cries "I can't let you go. You are my hero Winston. The man I love. I really hope everyone's wrong and you will come home to me." Meanwhile in Wade and Bridget's New Mansion, located in the Bannister Hills Country Club, Bridget walks inside, as a veiled woman sits inside, and Angelica Santiago Hale turns around, and tells her Grandson's Wife "I made Winston a promise I intend to keep." Bridget rolls her eyes, and walks upstairs, as Angelica sits back, and says with a tone of orneriness "And Wade's about to show Jared how the bloodline exactly works." At HaleCorp, Jared, and Carver stand around Wade, as Jared warns his Brother "I'm ready to call security to have you escorted, or I'll do it." Wade pulls out his phone, and tells Jared and Carver "I'll call them myself since I'm paying him." Wade hands something to Carver, as his jaws drop, and looks at Jared, silent, as Wade whispers in a cocky tone "Yeah now I call the shots around here. And Grandma. So buckle up, or get out."
